Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a large sized multidisciplinary Consultancy in Manchester. Our client is looking for an Senior and principal Civil Engineer with expertise in detailed Drainage, and road and flood risk design experience.

This design consultancy are looking for a strongly skilled Senior or principal with a great infrastructure background. Currently they work on a versatile project portfolio across the UK and will need to have skills within Drain design, Highways, Earth works, Utilities, Flood risk, Retaining structures and bridge design. You will be mentoring junior engineers in the team and provide feedback on design for their development. Team management experience for a principal is essential with a team of Technicians through to Senior engineers. This is a warm and vibrant office with a great team of well educated and experienced engineers for you to push your career forward.

Key requirements

• Degree qualified at MEng or BEng status
• On the pathway to or have obtained CEng chartership status
• Software - Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Innovyse and Microdrainage or InfoDrainage
• Some project management experience to deliver on the lifecycle of a project.
• Desirable to have some commercial awareness for Tendering stages.
• Work to deadlines with high levels of written report writing.
• Have experience in team management or mentoring for development of junior members of the team.
