Due to continued growth our client, who specialise in Construction and Engineering are now recruiting a General Manager who will help grow and sustain their business in emerging markets.

The role would suit someone from a project, programme or general management background in industries such as engineering, construction, building, manufacturing or maintenance.

Our client specialise in complex steel framed buildings, steel fabrications, external building envelope cladding installation, CNC machining and mechanical installation and maintenance.

As General Manager you will be responsible for -

• Safety performance

• Quality performance

• Environmental performance

• Business development

• Bid management

• Recruitment

• Resource management

• Client relations

• Profit generation

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Technical understanding of steel fabrication and erection

Technical understanding of cladding

Experience in Mechanical Engineering

Technical understanding of construction

Experience in managing multi-disciplines

Knowledge of construction contracts

Knowledge of bid management/estimating

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office
