Senior Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities:
Undertaking Tier 1 desk duties and data reviews, including site walkovers
Tier 2 geoenvironmental assessments / site characterisation
Supervision of ground investigations
procurement and supervision of sub-contractors
logging, soil sampling and gas/groundwater monitoring
be responsible for all aspects of post-works risk assessment (both GQRA and DQRA), client reporting requirements and liaison with both internal and external clients and regulatory bodies
involvement in the design and delivery of remediation schemes, waste management and characterisation
Senior Geotechnical Engineer Requirements:
A science based degree in a relevant subject such as Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science etc.
Masters degree would be beneficial but not essential
Previous experience in site investigations for contaminated land assessments, as well as soil and rock logging to BS (Apply online only)+A1-2020 along with an understanding of ground investigation techniques, including trial pitting, windowless sampling and rotary percussive drilling.This Senior Geotechnical Engineer role has excellent benefits, get in touch to find out more
