As a GROW graduate you will play an active part in driving your career development and will be exposed to a variety of projects across the business. Technical experience is key in our sector, which is why we will provide you with a clear framework to work towards Chartership. You'll benefit from structured training, mentoring, plus funding and support for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the assistance you need to develop and succeed.

The Engineering GROW Programme
On the Engineering GROW Programme, you will be given the opportunity to specialise within your chosen discipline of engineering and we ensure you obtain the appropriate experiences that you need to become a technical expert.

Being an Engineer at Arcadis is about applying a human filter to all your technical expertise and training, and you'll be responsible for transforming the world through innovation and creativity. During this three-year programme you will develop core engineering and consulting techniques that can be applied while working with our clients in the UK and potentially even some of our international clients around the globe.

Geotechnical - The geotechnical team are involved in projects over a variety of sectors including Rail, Highways, Water and Energy. You will assist in the delivery of foundation, retaining wall, ground improvement and earthworks designs as well as undertaking desk studies, specifying and scoping intrusive ground investigations, producing interpretive reports and recommendations for a variety of geotechnical design solutions. Our team use innovative digital tools for producing accurate ground models and for analysis of geotechnical problems and design development.
  • Accepted degrees: MEng (or MSc) Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or related discipline
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Qualified to MEng/MSc level with a (predicted) grade of 2.2 in a relevant discipline.
  • You will enjoy working in a team environment and have the confidence to work under pressure
  • You will be innovative & creative
  • Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Be a strategic and analytical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills, and technical knowledge appropriate for the area you are applying to
  • Relevant work experience through internships would be advantageous
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
