Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed structural analysis and design calculations for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Develop structural design plans, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software and tools.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Perform site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate remedial measures.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation to support the design process and facilitate project approval.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and advancements in structural design engineering.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Structural Design Engineer in a similar role.
Proficiency in using industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve structural design issues.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills to present technical information clearly and concisely.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Professional membership or working towards membership with a recognized engineering institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE) is advantageous.
