Water Treatment Engineer
Location: London (client locations normally 1 hour commute from home address)
Salary: £21,000 - £27,000 base salary, dependent on experience, plus paid overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week (paid overtime over these hours)

You will thrive completing pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for our clients across our field-based role, travelling and delivering projects for clients across London and South England regions. Travel will be a key requirement of your role, with occasional travel further afield depending on our business needs.
Your responsibilities:
Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK.
All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.

SMS Environmental employs over 180 people from water treatment engineers and plumbers to office staff across our 4 nationwide offices based in Harwell (South Oxfordshire), Derby, Wales and Scotland.

Your responsibilities:
- Delivering a variety of water hygiene works to high standards
- Cleaning and disinfecting showers
- Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
- Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
- Checking and disinfecting calorifiers
- Completing all work on in house software using an iPad
- Previous water hygiene experience, achieving results to high standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience using iPad technology
- Full UK Driving Licence (You will be provided with a company van)
