Use your engineering skills to help in the fight against climate change. Join a company specialising in commercial-scale hydropower, wind turbines, solar PV and heat pumps. They are looking for a new Hydro team leader and member of the Senior Management Team.

The role is best suited to an engineering graduate, although other applicants with a deep understanding of mainly mechanical engineering can apply.

Experience in hydropower would be a strong advantage, but this is a fledgling industry, so other disciplines are acceptable.

Having CAD software, data analysis, report writing, and experience managing projects and teams would be ideal. That is because the role will carry overall project responsibility, and you will manage a small group of junior staff.

The business has a set of core values which all team members should buy into:
- Strives to reduce or eliminate CO2 emissions by designing and building high-quality renewable energy systems.
- Provides the best advice to clients, so they can make optimal decisions.
- Never misleads or miss-sells.
- Works in an open, fair, honest and constructive way.
- Shows respect to colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
- Will never greenwash.
- Operates a no-blame culture and accepts mistakes happen, and learns from them.
- Continuously improves processes and designs.
- All staff strive to understand the commercial basis of all our projects and aim to achieve or exceed of profit targets.

The role would be office-based, not working from home. The office is located in a beautiful watermill in the Stroud Valley, with Gloucester, Cheltenham and Bristol nearby. It is ideal for someone who likes to work in a pleasant environment. The area is the Cotswold Hills, so great if you like the outdoors.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary of £37,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience.
- Profit-sharing system where 25% of profits are shared between eligible staff, paid on a quarterly basis.
- Once part of the Senior Management Team you would become part of a generous EMI share option scheme.
