Control Systems Engineer - Renewable Energy Systems
London/Guildford - Hybrid
Salary up to £60,000
Introduction
Astute are proudly working with a leading clean technology integrator and renewable asset developer, owner and operator to source an Electrical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in FEED and feasibility studies and experience with CHP, HVAC, Air/Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar assets.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for:
Providing assessment of control system configurations and operations at client sites
Developing control system requirements to meet the proposed energy project
Control system conceptual design and specification
Further definition of conceptual design from feasibility stage including on-site assessments
Interfacing with suppliers
Providing technical support throughout the procurement and construction process for projects
Technical support for safe commissioning and handover of projects
Technical supervision and mentoring of junior engineering staff
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Experience designing control systems as well as ongoing technical support
Ideally degree educated relevant field e.g., Electrical Engineering or at least a higher education in a relevant field
Previous work with control system design and integration into the built environment i.e. commercial or industrial
Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field
