Senior or Principal Rail Civil Engineer

We are currently dealing with a major Engineering consultancy who are looking at recruiting either a Senior or Principal Rail Civil Design Engineer to be based in Surrey, specifically Redhill, who will lead rail projects including delivering civils and structures design works. Within the role you manage and deliver significant high value programme of major multi-disciplinary infrastructure bids & projects which includes client engagement to support rail project delivery. As the Senior or Principal Rail Civil Structural Engineer typical job duties can include, but not limited to:

Manage and coordinate delivery of rail bids working closely with other technical discipline leads;
Acting as Lead Rail Civil Structural Design Engineer
Undertake CRE Duties where applicable
Project planning, including developing and executing project executions plans for all
projects under responsibility
Ensure the work is carried out cost effectively and to specification.
Work with Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such
Job Requirement

Familiar with Network Rail, TfL and other key client's delivery process and requirement
Ideally CRE Experience
Ideally Chartered or equivalent experience
Experience working within a Design Engineering environment for on Civil or Structural Engineering projects, specifically related to Rail
Familiar with the relevant Design Engineering software
