We are currently seeking a skilled Temporary Works Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. Role Overview: As a Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing safe and effective temporary works designs for our wastewater and water projects. You will work closely with our project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will be essential in providing innovative solutions for temporary structures, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce temporary works designs for wastewater and water infrastructure projects, including excavation support, formwork, falsework, and scaffolding.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise on temporary works design aspects.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and documentation for temporary works.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Monitor and review temporary works during construction to ensure compliance with design intent and address any technical issues that may arise.
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to temporary works design and incorporate them into project designs as necessary.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Temporary Works Design Engineer, preferably within the wastewater and water industry.
• Strong knowledge of temporary works design principles, methodologies, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficient in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
