Engineering services are delivered for the px group by the engineering consultancy division px Engineering Consultants Limited ("PXECL"). The team comprises of managers, senior engineers, engineers and designers that have direct experience of construction projects and operating facilities, as well as exceptional engineering expertise.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Senior Construction Engineer to provide construction support throughout the engineering, procurement and construction phase of the project using detailed construction knowledge and experience. Primarily home office based the Senior Construction Engineer will form an integral part of the px Engineering team.

Minimum Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer Status with +10 years relevant experience, or
- BTEC or equivalent in construction or engineering discipline with +15 years relevant experience
- Detailed understanding of industry specific legislation including CDM 2015
- Detailed knowledge and experience of managing and coordinating construction contractors acting as Principal Contractor
- Home office support including to Concept and FEED studies
- Experience of leading construction campaigns on upper tier COMAH facilities
- Development of resource estimates and managing budgets
- Development of construction execution strategies and plans
- Lead Constructability and HAZCON processes
