An exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer / Graduate to join a well-established company based in Longridge, near Preston.
Salary: Negotiable, subject to experience.

The successful candidate will be a confident problem solver with a keen interest in all aspects of Structural Engineering and construction. In addition to that, they must be able to confidently engage and communicate with members of the existing team, external consultants, contractors and clients.
Role and Responsibilities
Play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion
Attend site projects and design team meetings as required
Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with highly valued clients
Lead projects independently on a range of contracts
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and manufacturers
Carry out detailed design and analysis on a range of projects
Deliver projects within timescale, budget constraints and quality expectations
Candidate Requirements - if applying as a Graduate then experience is not necessary
Live in the UK (right to live/work in the UK)
Have a minimum qualification: BEng/BSc Civil/MSc/Structural / Civil Engineering
Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
Have experience designing in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
Knowledge of engineering design software is desirable TEKLA, TEDDS,
Experience using AUTOCAD is essential
Good understanding of structural analysis and excellent problem-solving skills
Have good communication skills and attention to detail
Prepare your own designs, design calculations, drawings and project documents
Full UK driving licence preferred
