Our client a major global engineering firm with expertise in the design and delivery projects in the water sector are looking to expand their team in Scotland by adding an Engineering Water Delivery Manager with a background in the water industry.

Working on the Scottish Water Framework our client has projects in various locations throughout Scotland. As the Engineering Water Delivery Manager, you will work as an important part of the management team and will be responsible for leading the team of process, mechanical and electrical engineer to design, document and deliver procurement of treatment systems and pump stations.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Lead and manage a team of multi-discipline engineers.
Support in preparing pricing, quotes and estimates.
Completing contract documentation.
Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Mange design team performance and conduct design deliverables.
Responsible for all HSEQ
Prepare site HSEQ documentation.
Close liaison with production and site teams on project mile-stones and updating programmes accordingly
Regular communication with all teams to drive the project forward and meet programme deadlines.
Ensure that all technical information is readily available to allow for project design delivery and construction.
Regular update and reporting to the Senior management team.
Ensure that the project is correctly managed with the correct resources.
Applicants must have the following:

Degree or an equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
Due to the nature of the project, previous experience working on water projects is essential.
Experience of building and maintaining good working relationships.
Demonstrable experience of leading, inspiring, coaching, managing and mentoring others.
Excellent leadership skills.
You will be a key team player that strives to work with other stakeholders to deliver the vision and complete projects with success.
DOMS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are essential.
National Water Hygiene registration desirable.
Working in confined spaces is desirable.
Competent using AutoCAD.
Full UK drives' license.
Flexibility on travel for sites is required given the site locations are across Scotland.
