Excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a well-established consultancy where you will work on a range of interesting projects in the private and public sectors whilst having opportunities to develop your skillset in becoming chartered.

Are you a Structural Engineer with experience working with steel and concrete on Tekla? Are you looking to join a close knit team where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills to become chartered?

Established for 30 years, this Cardiff based consultancy are looking to continue growth by bringing on a structural engineer wanting to develop their knowledge of structures across multiple sectors of construction including commercial, residential, industrial works alongside tier 1 contractors. This team offer training towards chartership by having reviews every 6 months to ensure you're on the right track to professional development. Due to winning a number of high value, lucrative contracts they are looking to recruit a motivated Structural Engineer to join their close knit, loyal team.

In this role you will be based in Cardiff with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. Responsibilities will include preparing design calculations, drawings specifications and reports. Also coordinating designs with technicians and other engineers, undertaking structural surveys, assisting directors and managing project deliverables. You will use software such as Tedds & Tekla.

The Person:

• Structural Engineer with relevant structural experience.
• Ability to use Tedds and produce technical drawings.
• Good understanding of structures and steel/concrete/reinforced concrete.
• Degree in structural engineering
