We are looking for an Engineer to join our Utilities & Facilities team providing engineering expertise on HVAC and Purified Water Systems. Located in Hertfordshire, GSK's Ware site is one of the key manufacturing centers for GSK, manufacturing medicines and supplying globally.

The purified water systems on site serve pharmaceutical grade purified water to Production and Laboratory areas and equipment, compliant with local Engineering Standards and US Pharmacopeia. The HVAC systems on site supply various classifications of pharmaceutical grade air to Production areas and stability chambers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a sound and thorough understanding of HVAC and Purified Water Systems and relevant Engineering Standards
  • Identify non-compliant areas or faults and implement problem solving to identify corrective and preventative actions to address issues
  • Technical analysis of data and equipment performance (including interrogating Building Management Systems) to suggest and implement operational improvements
  • Deliver small projects or portions of larger projects, including generating and reviewing technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in an Engineering discipline (or relevant experience and actively working towards)
  • Incorporated Engineer Status (or actively working towards)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and communicate with colleagues across departments and external specialists
