Structural Engineer - Derby (Hybrid working available)

Due to continued growth and a healthy order book we are delighted to be recruiting a Structural Engineer to join a very successful steelwork engineering business out of their Derby office location - Hybrid working is available (2-3 days wfh per week).

Projects are typically steel framed buildings (portals, beam and stick).

Structural Engineer duties include:
•Design of structural sections and associated connections where required.
•Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required.
•Raising RFI/TQs as required.

Structural Engineer requirements:
•Hold a professional Engineering qualification.
•Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer, ideally on steel framed building projects.
•Design and build project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
•Experience working with design software such as master series, CSC/Trimble Building Designer or similar is advantageous.
•Good communication skills
