Astute are proudly partnered with a leading engineering consultancy who specialise in providing technical support and consultancy services to developers, investors and owner-operators, supporting investments into renewable energy and infrastructure projects in support of the UK's transition to clean energy sources.

We are seeking a Project Manager/Engineering Manager with a technical background in the wind industry to join their growing Renewables Team. The key responsibility of the role will be to review and conduct technical due diligence to technical and engineering documentation in aid of wind farm developments. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background in an engineering or project management role, working on new wind farm developments and projects.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Project Manager/Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

· Manage technical aspects of power and transmission services for offshore Wind division.

· Lead on delivering tender proposals within any electrical project

· Provide technical updates to all stakeholders

· Support the lifecycle of projects and assets, to build relationships and ensure stakeholders remain informed.

· Support procurement in technical queries and provide input for the engineering budget

· Project manage the consultancy and design phase of assignments, working with multiskilled teams to deliver offshore assets

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

· Experience in Front End Engineering Design

· Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

· Experience of managing multiskilled teams

· GWO's advantageous but not essential

· Chartered Engineers highly desirable
