The Company
First People Solutions are currently recruiting a Land Engineer for a permanent position in Glasgow city centre for a well-established client in the Construction industry in Scotland.
This is an office-based Engineer position however there will be site visits involved from time to time.
The Job
The position would suit a Site Engineer looking to transition to more of an office-based role. This will also entail the following.
Creating a link from the Engineering on site to the office team
Working closely with the commercial team to ensure the engineering requirements are cost effective
Handling immediate technical queries
Ensuring all paperwork is managed and kept secure on all site matters
The Candidate
The successful candidate will come from a Civils/Construction background or be a couple of years out of university and have Civils or Construction experience under their belt. You must also have:
An eye for detail
CSCS
Organisation and task management aptitude
Communication and relationship building skills
