First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer who is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you are passionate about structural engineering and have a minimum of 2 years of structural engineering design experience, along with a strong background in designing steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures, this is an outstanding chance to advance your career in a nurturing and innovative environment.
This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work within a wide range of projects in the Residential, Industrial, Healthcare, Commercial and Retail sectors.
Undertake structural design and analysis of various building projects.
Prepare calculations, technical reports, and drawings to meet project requirements.
Collaborate closely with Engineers and Technicians to deliver project objectives and develop effective design solutions.
Utilise engineering software and tools to assist in the design and analysis process.
Your experience, background and approach to work will include:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
2-5 years of experience within a design environment (structural engineering design)
Chartered (IStructE/CEng) status or working towards
Confident in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and concrete structures
Good knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.
Knowledge of relevant policy and design standards
