First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer who is seeking a talented Civil Structural Engineer with expertise in the design of bridges, marine structures, rail, and roads to join their esteemed team. Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the design and analysis of new/existing bridges, rail bridges, footbridges marine structures and roads.
Utilise your expertise to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies, perform structural assessments, and provide technical recommendations.
Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports.

What we need from you:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
3 years of experience working within a design engineering environment
Chartered (CEng) preferred or working towards
Proven experience in the design of new/existing bridges and rail infrastructure preferred
Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and design software.
Proficiency in software such as Midas, LUSAS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
