Position Description:

Test Engineer required to support the Structural Battery Test Laboratory (SBTL). This role is expected to operate on a double day shift pattern.

The Test Engineer will support vibration or MAST testing of batteries. May also include an element of abuse testing in the future. Facility currently being built so support will be required with preparations to operate, commissioning, and then running of customer tests.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Test Planning Experience
• Structural hydraulics / vibration test rig experience, doesn't need Battery experience
• Test Execution Experience (hands-on)
• Either battery testing, hydraulic/MAST testing or vibration testing experience
• Ability to plan and support the running of battery or structural (MAST/Vibration) tests

Preferred:

• Understanding of battery test requirements.
• Data analysis experience.
• Working knowledge of standard problem solving techniques.
• Experience of commissioning new facilities
