Senior Structural Engineer

Due to growth my client is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join the team, they are looking for

Requirements:· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.· Proven organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise numerous activities.· 5+ years' experience in the design of civil and structural engineering works.

· Previous design experience in rail industry and/or bridge design or assessment would be advantageous.· Basic proficiency in use of AutoCAD or similar drawing package.· Proficiency in the use of a structural analysis package: Autodesk Robot, Tekla Structural Designer, LUSAS, SAP2000 or similar.

Responsibilities:· Undertaking design and detailing of Civil & Structural engineering schemes, feasibility studies, inspections, surveys, and reports.· Produce design calculations in accordance with Eurocode, British, DMRB and Network Rail Standards.· Produce design documentation in accordance with DMRB CG300 and Network Rail NR/L2/CIV/003.· Inspecting and supervising site works and undertaking contract administrative duties.Must Have Qualifications:· Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.· Working towards Chartered Engineer status with The Institution of Civil Engineers or The Institution of Structural Engineers.
