Structural Engineer

Opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a prestigious building design consultancy in their Sheffield office.

Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to
coordinate projects and communicate effectively with design team members, and
be technically competent with the design of structures to current design standards.

The scope of work covers a variety of new build and refurbishment projects across a wide range of building sectors. Experience in the following types of projects would be beneficial:

·Commercial
·Industrial
·Residential
·Retail
·Logistics
·Education
·Hospitality
·Healthcare

Requirements

BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
Member of ICE/IStructE working towards chartered status.
Minimum 2 years experience
Experience of working in all main materials including Steel, timber, Masonry and Concrete
Sound technical skills and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Software experience in Robot, Masterseries, Etabs, Tedds, CSC Fastrack Building Designer, FEM and similar suites would be desirable.
