Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for professionals in the field of structural engineering to contribute to exciting projects in various sectors. Regardless of your expertise, you will work alongside highly talented individuals who are leaders in their respective fields.
As a Structural Engineer, your main responsibility will be to support a client in sectors such as Defence, Aviation, Power, Custodial, and Nuclear throughout the project lifecycle. This will involve technical design work and close collaboration with the client and experienced design engineers. You will address any technical queries and review them in relation to the existing design. Additionally, you may contribute to design changes to ensure smooth project progress.
Duties:
Prepare design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and reports.
Conduct site surveys and fulfil construction stage duties.
Maintain communication and collaboration with clients, design teams, and construction teams.
Undertake project management tasks, including cost estimation and progress monitoring.
Review calculations and detailed drawings to ensure compliance with quality and compliance standards.
Work closely with a diverse team to develop safe, efficient, and feasible solutions.
Contribute to successful project delivery by providing high-quality engineering design services and collaborating with stakeholders.Essential:
Relevant engineering degree, preferably chartered or actively working towards chartered status.
Strong technical proficiency in structural design and understanding of design principles and methodologies.
Either already hold security clearance or be willing and able to obtain it.
Familiarity with RIBA stage 5, which involves detailed design and construction stages.Qualifications:
BEng / MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
Chartered or near Chartered status and membership of the ICE or IStructE.
