Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Location: Milton Keynes

A specialist, international geotechnical and structural engineering consultancy are looking for a highly skilled and solution focused Geotechnical Design Engineer in Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will join an expanding geotechnical team of experts and will benefit by being mentored by a PhD Geotechnical engineer. You will be working on a range of projects across residential, commercial, industrial and mining sectors.

Our client is looking for a Milton Keynes based solution focused, driven engineer who is educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of site investigation, ground engineering and geotechnical design.

The main responsibilities of this Geotechnical Design Engineer role include:

Analysis and design of slopes, water retaining structures, retaining walls, earthworks, and foundations
Geotechnical modelling and design
Ground modelling and mining risk assessments
Logging and sampling of soils and rocks
Writing Geotechnical Interpretive Reports, Geotechnical Design Reports and Earthworks SpecificationsThis Geotechnical Design Engineer role offers:
