JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL ONSHORE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performing roles as the Lead Engineer on concept and FEED design projects.
  • Producing clear and concise consultancy and technical reports.
  • Preparing and/or checking specifications, design calculations, drawings and MTOs.
  • Ensure project deliverables and all outputs are compliant with our ISO accredited quality, project control, safety and integrity procedures.
  • Planning work packages, reporting progress and forecasting.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Ability to develop conceptual arrangements for industrial buildings and structures.
  • Wide skillset with a knowledge of commonly used European and International civil & structural design codes.
  • Good communication is essential, and an excellent standard of written and spoken English and be responsible for clearly and concisely writing and verifying technical reports and documents.
  • Prepare and/or check specifications, design calculations, drawings and MTOs.
  • Ensure all outputs are compliant with our in-house ISO accredited quality, project control, safety and integrity procedures.
  • Oversee, manage, and supervise work of others including workshare offices and subcontractors.
  • Plan work packages, reporting progress and providing forecasts.
  • Structural assessment and appraisal.
  • Drainage design and experience of InfoDrainage.
  • Scoping and overseeing geotechnical investigations.
  • Roads and infrastructure design.
