Requirements / Responsibilities: General Duties
* Development of Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategies commensurate to the applicable project design stage
* Construction of Hydraulic Models - Surface Water using Causeway Flow
* Analysis of Foul Water Networks - Domestic Units Analysis
* Drainage design in accordance with the most up to date standards including but not limited to: Design and Construction Guidance (DCG), BS EN 753, Building Regulations -Part H and Ciria Guidance for SUD's and Modular Geocelluar Tanks
* Preparation of Section 104, Section 106 and Section 185 agreements in accordance with the Water Industries Act
* Preparation of design deliverables:
o Drawings in AutoCAD
o Hand drawn sketches - As appropriate to design stage
o 3D Surfaces, Cut and Fill in PDS
o Working knowledge of Civils 3D
o Specification Documents
o Manhole Schedules
o 3rd Party Agreement Information - Requirements of the Statutory Authority
o Reports - RIBA Stage Reports, Constraint Reports, FRA's
* Highway Design - Adopted and Non-Adopted
* Hard Landscaping structural design in accordance with the requirements of British Standards and the Design Guide Prepared and recognised by the industry. Designs to suit the requirements of those proposed by the Landscape Architect / Architect if appropriate.
* Vehicle Tracking
* Preparation of Section 38, Section 50 and Section 278 agreements in accordance with the requirements of the applicable Local Authority.
* Levels design for Highways and Hard Landscaping.
* Client liaisons and meeting as appropriate
* Working both within a design team and also individually
* Ability to manage their own time and works to both budget and programme.
* Timesheets and Various in-house quality control procedures.
