Civil Engineer – Senior
$57.31 - $71.58/hour; $9,933.73 - $12,407.20/month; $119,204.80 - $148,886.40/year
Placer County is currently accepting applications to fill four Senior Civil Engineer vacancies. One within the Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA) Building Services Division, and three within the Department of Public Works, two in the Environmental Engineering Division and one in the Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA).
As a Senior Civil Engineer you will plan, organize, and direct professional engineering work related to the investigation, planning, design, construction, operations or maintenance of public infrastructure, systems, projects and/or development; coordinate engineering functions with other divisions, departments or outside agencies; and provide highly responsible technical support to management staff in the assigned department.

Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience in engineering, including two years of supervisory responsibility.
Training: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field.
License: California Professional Engineers license
