As Engineering Capability Lead at the NCC, youre the focal point for structural engineering. When youre not working to meet the technical needs of industry innovators, youre leading a team of specialist engineers, helping them thrive in all they do.

Youll see the results of your work making a real difference both in industry, and within the organisation as you help to develop a strategic vision for developing capability at the NCC and build the engineers of tomorrow from within your team.

So, what are we looking for?

  • You can manage, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • A proven leader, with an ethos of continuous improvement and a knack for motivating engineers toward a unified goal. You have no problem managing complex systems and change, leading collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Youll be an expert in Finite Element Analysis and hand calculations.
  • Proven experience in material modelling for complex failure in composites, creep, fatigue, damage.
  • An expert user of one or more major packages: NASTRAN, ABAQUS and/or Hyperworks.
