The Civil Engineering team thrives on the diversity of our work. Projects undertaken by the team include highway and public realm design, sustainable urban drainage, utilities co-ordination, water and wastewater treatment and energy related projects. We often play a key role in large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. The team is involved in projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept stage through to detailed design and construction, for a wide range of both public and private sector Clients.   

We are looking for candidates with a degree in Civil Engineering, expecting a 2:1 or above.

We are looking for candidates with a Minimum of Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Engineering Science

Available locations: Nottingham

Our Civil Engineers can find themselves working in diverse roles from major heavy-duty pavements such as ports, and airports to other major Infrastructure projects such as major highways to smaller local site developments. An interest in heavy duty pavements and aviation would be desirable. Collaboration, and effective communication is fundamental to success as our Civil Engineering teams are often at the core of these projects acting as integrators or facilitators, working closely with many internal specialists and external bodies from clients and contractors to statutory approval organisations.  

We are looking for candidates with a master's in civil engineering (or equivalent) at 2.1 or above, although a BEng at 2.1 or above will also be considered.

This role is to be based within the Arup Airside Infrastructure team. This role will include a significant portion of time working on aviation projects; however, you will work on cross sector projects such as Ports, Highways, Energy and Water as part of building a diverse and multifaceted skillset.

We are looking for candidates with a master's in civil engineering (or equivalent) at 2.1 or above, although a BEng at 2.1 or above will also be considered.

This role is sits within our Catchments and Modelling team, which is made up of passionate multi-disciplinary water engineers, catchment modellers and scientists who work together to deliver a wide variety of projects. We deliver a mix of complex, novel, and nature-based solutions to improve river and coastal health.

For this specific opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
  • Minimum of a Bachelors in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering OR;
  • Masters or post-graduate Degree in a similar Water related discipline.
