Senior Functional Safety Engineer - Energy - NW England

One of my clients has a need for a Senior Functional Safety Consultant to work on a variety of traditional oil and gas projects and also some renewable/alternative energy schemes. The person my client is looking for must have some experience working as a Functional Safety Engineer/Consultant and be conversant in FTAs, SIL determination, FMEAs. You must also have a track record of participating in functional safety assessments in accordance with the requirements of IEC 61508 and 61511 (Edition 2). As well as possessing the relevant technical skills you must also have strong communication and commercial attributes being able to liaise with clients and internal teams.

The projects you can expect to work on will be a healthy variety of oil & gas projects in the UK and Europe. You will also get the chance to work on some very interesting projects in the Hydrogen sector.
