£35,000 -£45,000 (depending on level of experience) + Annual Tax-Free Bonus

The Role

My client is in search capable and self-motivated individual who are eager to join my client's thriving business and become a part of our future accomplishments. In this instance they are seeking a Civil Engineer who holds a degree qualification and has prior experience in the rail industry, particularly within a design consultancy setting. The role involves collaborating with civils teams and requires expertise in various areas, including:

• Foundation design
• Slope stability
• Retaining walls design
• Working platforms
• Design of formwork
• Culvert designs.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong technical background and proficiency in using:

• AutoCAD
• Slope/W (or a similar tool)
• Strand 7.

Additionally, familiarity with Eurocodes, CDM regulations, and British Standards is essential.

Responsibilities of The Role

• Perform both conceptual and detailed design tasks.
• Respond promptly to evolving project needs.
• Effectively communicate ideas through clear and well-crafted drawings.
• Work efficiently to meet challenging time constraints.
• Conduct thorough technical reviews of designs.

Requirements of The Role

• Degree qualified in civil engineering
• Working towards membership of ICE
• Clean driving licence.
