Role: Senior Structural Engineer

We are currently working with a reputable interdisciplinary consulting firm where, in your role as a senior structural engineer, you will be contributing to a variety of projects.

As a member of a team using programmes like MasterSeries, CSC Fastrak, and Strand7, you will help with calculations and the design of a variety of buildings, including single-family homes, multi-story steel, steel frame, concrete frame, portal frame, and conventional domestic structures.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing, detailing, and inspecting the system designs drawings.
• Drafting reports and creating design quotations.
• Overseeing, guiding, reviewing, and approving work for graduates and engineers
• Working in a multidisciplinary setting with engineers from related fields, such as civil and infrastructure design and geotechnical engineering.
• Establishing connections with clients by participating in client and project meetings to learn about their wants, demands, and any design concerns.
Your qualifications will include:
• A civil or structural engineering bachelors or masters degree (or an equivalent qualification)
• Possess a chartered status with ICE or IStructE or be working towards one.
• Possess practical design knowledge and the capacity to handle many tasks at once.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
