Jacobs has secured a long term framework contract with Northumbrian Water in the northeast of England and we are seeking skilled people to join our growing water team and deliver on the fantastic opportunities this presents.

You will ideally have mechanical engineering experience gained across a range of projects in a multi-disciplinary environment in the water sector. With a sound understanding of civil engineering principles and application, you will have:
- A degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering and a Chartered Engineer
- Up to date knowledge of current civil standards and specifications
- Good understanding of the CDM requirements
- Good understanding of the technical work undertaken in the water sector with experience in one or more of the following areas: Water and/or wastewater networks; Water and/or wastewater treatment works; Bioresources; Hydraulics; Mass water conveyance
- Experience in design management and coordination
- Good motivation, influencing and people management skills so that you can lead a team and provide support for developing engineers whilst continuing to develop your own career.
