Civil/ Structural Design Engineer - Rail

Location: Stockport - 3 days office/ 2 from home
Rate: Negotiable - inside IR35
Contract length: 12 months

This is an exciting role working for a consultancy who are supporting Network Rail in delivery of civil and structural schemes.

The role will be undertaking civil/ structural designs and ideally acting as CRE.

This role is based near Stockport and will be offering 3 days a week in the office and 2 working from home. This is an initial 12 month contract with likely extensions of another 12 months.

Requirements:

·5 years' relevant post-graduate experience of producing Civil Engineering designs
·Experience in design, installation and maintenance. Understanding of the rail industry
·PTS card
·Ideally acting as CRE on schemes
·Fulfilling CDM Designer duties and being assessed as competent to undertake such a role.
