Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a Civil and Structural design consultancy based in Leeds. They are looking for a civil engineer working in the Highways division along side the development Infrastructure team.

This consultancy are looking for a strong civil engineer who has a highways background working on a spectrum of access roads and link road projects. This engineer will be working alongside the development infrastructure team to focus on designing roads of residential and commercial developments. This Engineer will be keen to develop within the infrastructure market which this consultancy will provide training and development within drainage.

Key responsibilities:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with responsibility for the analysis and design of highways design.
• Have knowledge in designing drawings using Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
• Have some experience visiting sites and attending site meetings.
• Involvement in internal project design meetings.
• Attend external design meetings with clients and other design team members.
• Prepare correspondence and reports.
• Compliance with CDM Designer's duties.

This candidate should have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
• Graduate member of the ICE or CIHT and a desire to work towards chartership status.
• Excellent knowledge of Civils 3D and AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of DMRB, DMRB, Local Authority guidelines and their applications.
• An understanding of Vehicle tracking and the software used.

Desired aspects:

• Understanding of level design and earthworks analysis.
• Understanding of below ground drainage experience or interest to learning drainage designs
