About the opportunity:
Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the UK and across the Globe. Jacobs' Water UK is looking for skilled people to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond.
We are looking for talented Senior Process Engineers the desire to be part of our UK and wider team - contributing to our community of around 30 process engineers in the UK and our wider Solutions and Technology team, to get involved in a range of interesting and challenging projects across all stages of the urban water cycle. Particular industry focus for ongoing and upcoming work, and topics we are passionate about, include a just, inclusive, Green Recovery, wider benefits throughout the water cycle through implementing Circular Economy and the UK Water Industry's Net Zero Carbon commitment in response to the Climate Crisis.

As a member of the Europe Water Process team, you would be supported by and work as part of our diverse and dynamic team based in the UK and within our Global Solutions and Technology group

About you

Here's What You'll Need:
- You will hold an MEng in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) and will be a chartered Engineer or close to becoming Chartered.
- You will have had relevant work experience in water and/or wastewater treatment and be an enthusiastic, proactive Engineer with:
- Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, liaising directly with Clients and other project team members
- Comprehensive understanding of Water and Wastewater theory and industry practices, standards and their application
- Experience in the design of water or waste-water non-infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design including development of piping and instrumentation diagrams, control philosophies and detailed process calculations
- Experience in delivering process elements of design on small/medium or large water projects
- Strong Mathematical and Analytical skills including use of MS Excel
