Are you an experienced Site Engineer with a background in civil engineering? Key Responsibilities as a Site Engineer:
- Set out and surveying.
- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Oversee quality control and health and safety on-site.
- Implement management-approved strategies.
- Liaise with site staff and subcontractors.
- Review design plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
- Produce 2D & 3D site sketches.
- Develop method statements and risk assessments.
- Support the team and perform other site engineering duties as needed.
- Undertake material reconciliations.
- Control and minimize waste on-site.
- Maintain regular client communication.
- Mentor and train junior staff when required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum HNC level education in Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience on Scottish Water projects.
- Experience in a heavy civil engineering environment.
- Proficiency in setting out and surveying is essential.
- CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to work at various locations across Scotland.
- Full UK driver's license.
