Our client, a well respected civil engineering contractor who operates throughout Scotland, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals with prior experience working on the Scottish Water Framework.

Key Responsibilities as a Site Engineer:

• Set out and surveying.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety on-site.
• Implement management-approved strategies.
• Liaise with site staff and subcontractors.
• Review design plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
• Produce 2D & 3D site sketches.
• Develop method statements and risk assessments.
• Support the team and perform other site engineering duties as needed.
• Undertake material reconciliations.
• Control and minimize waste on-site.
• Maintain regular client communication.
• Mentor and train junior staff when required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum HNC level education in Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience on Scottish Water projects.
• Experience in a heavy civil engineering environment.
• Proficiency in setting out and surveying is essential.
• CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications are advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft packages and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to work at various locations across Scotland.
• Full UK driver's license.
