This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and ambitious business, within a Structural Engineer position. Within this role, you will have to work on a variety of projects that directly influence the company's success.

Are you looking to work on a variety of projects including within the residential, industrial, and commercial industries? The business, a consultancy consisting of Civil/Structural Engineers and Design consultants, work with a diverse portfolio of clients nationwide, including a number of national housebuilders, railway infrastructure providers, and water clients. Whilst the majority of work will be within the residential market, there will be the opportunity to work on a range of projects. This is a critical hire for the business as they plan to build a team around senior members staff to ultimately facilitate the uptake of new projects.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Structural Engineer from, primarily, a residential and housebuilding background. The ideal candidate will also be happy to spend the majority of their time based out of offices near Derby.

The Role:
*Occasional site meetings.
*Site investigations.
*Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to convey design information.
*Interpret data to solve any problems related to company services.
*Manage a portfolio of both small and large projects.
*Hybrid working, based out of offices near Derby, 1 or 2 days working from home each week.

The Person:
*UK experience essential.
*Desire to pursue Chartership.
*Understanding of structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, structural masonry - concept to detailed design, foundation design, and structural analysis.
*Experience in geotechnical engineering desirable but not essential.
*Familiarity with all or some of the following structural design software: MasterSeries, Tedds, Teklar, AutoCAD, Revit.
*Happy to work hybrid.
