Role:

As a Geotechnical Engineer you will play a critical role in analysing soil and rock properties, assessing geological conditions, and providing geotechnical solutions for a wide range of projects.

Duties:

Conducting geotechnical investigations and site assessments.
Analysing soil and rock samples to determine their engineering properties.
Preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and environmental professionals.
Designing foundation systems, retaining structures, and slope stability analyses.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Essential qualifications and experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis and design software.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong project management skills.
A commitment to safety and ethical engineering practices
Proficient in 2D finite element analysis software (e.g. PLAXIS, Z-soil)
Experience in the use of geotechnical software (WALLAP, LPile, GPile, DPile, SlopeW, gINT, or equivalent)
Excellent Microsoft Office Abilities (particularly Excel, C+++)
2-D and 3-D computer aided design and computer aided engineering (CAD and CAE) toolsBenefits:
