Senior Structural Engineer

The successful candidate will be a chartered Engineer who can demonstrably perform as Senior Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Leading and managing complex structural engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery.
Conducting detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Staying up-to-date with industry advancements, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and implement best practices.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, actively participating in client meetings, and providing exceptional service.

Job Requirements/Experience

Minimum of six years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus steel frame design.
Proven experience as a Senior Structural Engineer, demonstrating expertise in delivering successful projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structural Designer and robot.
Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Option to work on a hybrid basis (if desired).
MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Chartered with IStructE or ICE.
