Principal Geotechnical Forensic Engineer

I am looking for an extremely analytical Principal Geotechnical forensic Engineer that specialises in tunnelling to sit under a Senior Partner in a detective like role, investigating failures, examining route cause and forensic engineering based in central London.

As a Principal Geotechnical forensic Engineer, you will be working for an SME tunnelling / underground structures specialist design consultancy working closely with lawyers, insurers, loss adjusters and project financiers.

The Principal Geotechnical forensic Engineer must be extremally numerate, articulate and be able to make sense of huge amounts of data. examples of work but not limited too include; root cause of defects and guidance on the implementation of repairs, excessive ground movement, tunnel assets & feasibility design of utility/service tunnels and drilled shafts etc.

To progress into this Principal Geotechnical forensic Engineer position, you will most likely have:

PhD or research experience
Chartered engineer or geologist status
Extensive tunnel design experience
The ability to understand and make sense of huge datasets
