Job Description
We are a fast growing, ambitious company offering Project Management, demolition, civil engineering including groundworks, foundations, drainage and utilities landscaping and basements.
We specialise in prefabricated single high-end dwellings.
Our head office is in Woodham, and we cover the entire UK mainland and islands. We believe that every member of staff is the key to our success, and we feel that everybody's input is important.
Civil Engineer
- Carry out site visits surveys and inspections
- Prepare mark up for pricing purposes of proposed drainage, utilities, excavation, retaining structures, access, general civil work
- Sequencing of concrete pours
- Review drawings prepared by the cad team
- Monitor and supervise
- Support the project management team with technical expertise
- Liaise with contractors, clients, team and directors
- Ensure work complies with quality management plans
- Managing and issuing drawings for construction at in the office and site level
- check construction meets the requirements of the design
- Completing site audits and inspections
- Deal with all issues on-site
- Overseeing, coordinating, and managing all completions
- Technical coordination of commissioning
- Preparing design calculations, drawings and reports where necessary
Requirements:
- Candidates must live within 20 miles radius
- Relevant Experience in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry
- 5-10 Years UK Experience
- Civil Engineering Degree and/or master's degree
- Be confident to work under minimum supervision and competent to check the work of others and supervise less experienced or junior staff
- Must be able to work with CAD software
- Clean driving licence and own vehicle, for traveling for work a pool car will be accessible
