Principle Civil Engineer

We are seeking to recruit a Principal Engineer to join our clients' Civil Infrastructure team in Manchester. This is an opportunity to join a reputable group with strong forward workload.

They have a Civil Infrastructure team of 50+ Engineers that collaborate with a wide variety of other disciplines to deliver effective solutions to their clients. Projects include a wide range of public and private sector schemes that include some significant development, infrastructure, and regeneration projects from small scale local schemes to larger national frameworks.

As a Principal Engineer, you will play an important role, overseeing and supporting the production of drainage/highway designs and provision for all types and scales of development projects, and assist in securing S278/S38 and S104 technical approvals. You will mentor and guide more junior Engineer and Technician colleagues in the effective delivery of outputs to agreed deadlines.

An important part of your role will be liaising with the internal and external clients and design teams on projects and be involved in the delivery and management of successful and timely outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to work with senior members of the Reading Civils team, and the wider business, to deliver key and important projects for clients.
