Civil Engineer - Sellafield
£44 per hour (Inside IR35)
6-12 Month Contract - Start ASAP
Are you a talented Civil Engineer with experience in a highly regulated sector?
Are you looking to work on one of the most important projects int he UK Nuclear industry right now?
This role is for you!
Our client are a well-known construction company with an excellent pipeline of work. They are looking for a Civil Engineer to join the team and play a pivotal role in a decommissioning project on behalf of Sellafield. The ideal candidate will have taken a leading role in the planning and setting out of large scale civil engineering projects in the past, and ideally be BPSS security cleared.
The Civil Engineer's daily duties
·Set out client's works as per contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
·Ensure accurate record keeping within the Civil engineering discipline
·Technical query resolution
·Produce procurement documents for the jobs and work with the procurement department to ensure site has the right resources at the right time
·Produce Task Briefings and ITP's
·Produce 2 week "look ahead" plans in conjunction with key site staff.
The Mechanical Engineer's Skillset
·Good experience of setting out on civil engineering projects, ideally in a regulated environment
·Sound knowledge of construction methods, H&S , and legal regulations
·Degree/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering
·BPSS security clearance
·Knowledge of AutoCad and MS Office Packages (desirable)
