Overview:
Role involves structural design for various building structures, including light gauge steel framing.
Responsibilities include preparing AutoCAD structural drawings, supporting and managing other Structural engineers, conducting site inspections, and contributing to innovative ideas.
Utilisation of the latest software tools.
Requirements
A degree or Masters in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
5-10 years of post-graduate design experience.
Proficiency in IT systems is essential.
A strong understanding of building structures and materials, encompassing steel, masonry, concrete, and timber.
Experience with industry-standard structural design software such as TEDDS & Tekla Structural Designer.
Design experience in Eurocodes/British Standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
A passion for embracing new technologies and driving progressive change.
Must be a car owner with a valid UK driving licence.
