Geo-environmental Engineer
Salary: £(phone number removed)
Location: Durham
In this Senior Geo-environmental Engineer role, you will provide research and testing for the hundreds of clients this consultancy is currently working with.
Testing in phase 1 risk assessments and phase 2 investigation reports. This client also offers Coal mining risk assessments, Hazardous ground gas assessments, Remediation, and validation reports.
What you will need:
Geotechnical knowledge and experience are required of around 2-3 years' experience. Skills and experience candidates need consist of the following areas:
·Exploration methods and testing: Geotechnical instrumentation monitoring and laboratory testing soil and rock.
·Phase 1: Qualitative Risk Assessments.
·Investigation of Historical Mining and Quarrying Activities.
·Phase 2: Geo-environmental Investigations.
·Insitu & Geotechnical Laboratory Testing.
·Soil, Leachate and Groundwater Contamination Screening.
·Tier 1 - 4 Soil and Groundwater Quantitative
·Contamination Risk Assessments (CLEA UK, P20 etc.).
·Provision of Factual and Interpretative Phase 2: Reports.
Must be flexible with working away for any site visits required of them.
Benefits:
·Company paid pension of 5%
·Death in service of four times annual salary.
·Discretionary bonus scheme- annual business performance.
