My client has over 40 years of experience within the Civil and Structural Engineering industry, they offer expert services throughout the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. They are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Civil Engineer to become a key member of their Civil Engineering team in Chorley.
Requirement
Relevant UK experience in roads and drainage design
Must hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Proficiency in relevant software including Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD
Comprehensive knowledge of section agreements (S78, S104 and S278)
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Experience with SuDS is desiredThe Role
This role will entail collaborating within a team of engineers and technicians, handling a range of projects simultaneously. You will be producing detailed highway and drainage designs, preparing relevant reports including flood risk assessments and drainage statements and undertaking scheme development. Liaising with relevant stakeholders such as clients, architects and regulatory authorities and attending various design and site meetings will also be a part of the day to day duties.
