Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Central London (Zone 1)

Salary: Up to 45k - 55k + package benefits including a yearly bonus + hybrid working

Emtech are working with a medium size multi disciplinary Engineering Consultancy who are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The company have continued to do well through recent years and are looking for an additional experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer as part of their continued growth.

The London office is 50 staff which works alongside other offices across the UK. The Civil Engineering team is 20-30 people which has a history of promoting people internally. Most of the current senior staff started at a lower grade within the business and have worked their way up.

They are currently working on a range of schemes across residential, retail, warehouses and commercial projects so ideally you will have previous private sector experience. The company have exciting growth plans and have recently been appointed on some large projects in London & South East.

Technical Experience Required:

5+ years experience in road design to local authority or DMRB standards (S278 / S38 and private works)
Junction design (roundabouts, traffic signals, priority and/or grade separated junctions etc)
Experienced in drainage design & SUDS
Design of external works to development projects
Civil 3D experience & Microdrainage is desired but experience in other comparable software is also useful
Managed a team and successfully delivered a range of projects
Experienced in liaising with clients and attending design team meetings This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a client facing role within a busy, growing company. There will be a mix of home working and office working (2-3 days a week in office is expected).
