I have been asked by my client to find a Geotechnical Engineer with at least 2-3 years' experience to work on a remediation scheme near Derby.
This project is due to run for the next 12 months and then there will be further projects within the Midlands.
My client is one of the UK's top remediation (and associated works) specialists in the UK. With a turnover close to £100 m they are an important part of a very successful construction/Civil Engineering group of companies.
They have a solid presence, a strong reputation and a healthy order book based on many years of successful delivery of often complex remediation schemes. This has lead to a high level of staff retention and satisfaction within the business.
The ideal candidate will either already be working for a contractor or consultancy and will have good knowledge of the remediation of contaminated land and the science behind it. You will need good data management skills, compliance experience and the desire to thrive with a dynamic organisation. You will also need to possess a relevant geotechnical degree qualification.
The salary on offer is competitive for the level of experience required. A company vehicle and fuel card/expense will also be supplied along with the usual pension and further benefits.
Please apply without delay for further information on this and other opportunities that may suit your skills, experience and aspirations
